ANImation | motion graphics

In 2019, I started incorporating more animation and motion graphics into my editing assignments, including projects that solely worked in animations without filmed footage.

Below you will find samples of work that heavy involves animation and graphic composition.

Reis2Occasion - YouTube Video

Editor | Animator

Reis2Occasion, a prominent content creator for competitive Pokémon Go tournaments, wanted to work with an editor for a long-form, storytelling format video for an in-person tournament and go over his team building process. I added in several b-roll clips, fullscreen graphics and sound effects to keep the content engaging, as well as updated his introduction logo in After Effects by making it pop with pseudo three-dimensional elements.

Roadex Animation Ad

Editor | Animator

Roadex wanted to create an animated video to help concisely illustrate their services for the trucking industry. In this video, the assets were created by way of Adobe Illustrator as storyboard panels, where I had to separate all the individual characters and props from the scenes and animate in a cohesive fashion for each section.

365 Days of Content Project

Creative Director | Filmographer | Editor | Actor

Across 2019-2020, I set out on a personal project to create a 15-second “music video” every day for one year. As my project moved along, I wanted to challenge myself with each passing day, and had to quickly manage several short projects at once while keeping focus on producing a video every 24 hours. This edit highlights some various clips that focus more on special effects or animation rather than filming.

Plastipak Technologies Slideshow

Editor | Animator

For their many trade shows, I created several looping slideshows highlighting the technologies of various Plastipak products in place of physical pamphlets or traditional print.

NAMRC Conference Video

Animator | Editor

The North American Manufacturing Research Conference draws attendees from all over the world, so for their social video to stir up interest, I had to combine several Zoom-recorded interviews from people all over the country in a cohesive fashion. The custom metal-plate video frame was used to place and cover up some issues with recording over Zoom.
